Introduction
Magnesite is a common magnesium ore. the magnesium content is 47.8%. Magnesite calcination is a process in which magnesite is heated to high temperatures, causing a chemical reaction to convert magnesite into magnesium oxide.These products are widely used in refractory materials, construction materials, chemical industries, and other fields. Its characteristics of high efficiency, environmental friendliness, and automation make it an important piece of equipment in modern industrial production.


Magnesite calcination process
① Crushing: crush the original magnesite ore to meet the required particle size requirements.
② Flotation: flotate the crushed ore to separate impurities and unnecessary components to improve the purity of magnesite ore.
③ Calcination process:The purpose of calcination is to decompose the magnesium carbonate in the magnesite ore to produce carbon dioxide and form magnesium oxide. The calcining process requires temperature control parameters such as degree, time and atmosphere. Usually continuous calcination is used, and the ore is processed in sections such as preheating zone, calcination zone and cooling zone. The preheating zone heats the ore to a certain temperature to remove volatile substances in the ore. In the calcination zone, the ore decomposes at high temperatures, releasing carbon dioxide and producing Magnesium oxide. The cooling zone cools the ore in preparation for the next step.
④ Magnesium oxide product treatment: Treat the calcined product to remove impurities and unreacted substances. Generally, methods such as physical separation and chemical treatment are used.
